01/13/2015 11:00 PMThe Guilford ski team began its season on Jan. 8 at Mt. Southington with a race against Westbrook, St. Luke's, Fairfield Prep, and Greenwich.
Top finishes included Justin Clark (15th, average time of 25.38); Peggy Wagner (16th, 25.395); Cami Makula (29th, 26.39); Meghan Scott (33rd, 27.30); Jordan Genovese (37th, 27.85); Bryce Makula (40th, 27.99); and Lily Young (42nd, 28.14).
"I think our racers did an excellent job considering we have had limited time on the race course because of the lack of snow," said Head Coach Todd Williams. "We will only improve as we get more time on the race course. It should be a fun season where I expect to see racers compete not only against other teams, but also with themselves trying to achieve personal improvement each and every day."
