12/02/2014 11:00 PMThe Madison Youth Tigers cheerleading squad is heading to the American Youth Cheer (AYC) National Competition in Orlando, Florida after sweeping its division in local, state, and regional competitions. The Tigers' latest win on Nov. 22 in Manchester, New Hampshire saw the team top 15 others to place first in Division 13 Large Red, surpassing teams from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The club has placed first in all of its competitions thus far this year and will compete in the national competition the weekend of Saturday, December 13. The head coach is Licia Ciotti and she is assisted by Melissa Whelahan, Melissa Mortensen, Carla Carusone, Jill Van Kirk, and Joan McShane. Photo and information courtesy of Licia Ciotti
