Field Hockey Falls in SCC Quarters, Now Awaits States

The Guilford field hockey squad took a 3-0 loss to Lauralton Hall on Oct. 20 before losing a tough 2-1 decision to Cheshire on Oct. 22. The Indians then qualified for the SCC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and suffered a 3-0 defeat to those same 3rd-seeded Rams in the quarterfinal round on Oct. 25.

Guilford (5-9-2-1 overall) now looks ahead to the Class MM State Tournament, which begins on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
