10/09/2014 12:00 AMThe Guilford field hockey team headed to Branford on Sept. 30 and suffered a tough 1-0 loss prior to a home 4-1 defeat against Hand two days later to bring the Indians' record to 2-5-2.
MacKenzie Cattaruzza scored Guilford's lone goal on an assist from Sami Clayton in the Hand matchup.
"We are starting to play better and the girls are really working hard," said Head Coach Kitty Palmer. "We hope that our efforts in practice and in the games translate to some wins next week."
