Madison 13-U Baseball Wins East Shore Crown

The Madison 13-U travel baseball team completed its sweep of the East Shore Travel League 13-U Majors Championship Series on July 30 with a 7-5 victory over Stamford Legion. The Tigers had already won the ESTL (East Shore Travel League) American Division title in a single elimination tournament the weekend before facing the National Division winners from Stamford. Madison finished the season with an overall record of 32-5-1, bringing home three championships-including two in ESTL and a 4-0 sweep of the War at the Shore Tournament in June.
