At Hand, the Cougars were able to keep the game close early with the score tied 3-3 midway through the first half. However, Hand then scored the next nine goals of the contest to build a 12-3 edge by halftime. Rourke recorded five first-half saves, while fellow HK netminder Lindsey Nord stopped three second-half Tiger shots. Cretella (3 goals), Anderson (2 goals), and Pasqualini (1 goal) each scored for HK, and Tripodi dished out an assist.
