Hand scored a 160-188 victory at Hamden on April 28 to improve to 5-1-1. Brian Carlson, with three birdies, shot a three-under-par 33 to lead the Tigers to victory. Tommy Pellatt (40), Todd McAndrews, (43), and Justin Freund (44) rounded out Hand on the day.

"Brian's score was not surprising, but was outstanding," said Head Coach Jim Holleran. "On a beautiful day at Laurel View in Hamden, Brian Carlson shot a terrific round on one of the more challenging courses in the area. Tommy Pellatt, despite battling a sore back, was able to manage a 40 to help us to victory."
