Guilford's Meoli to Attend Trinity College

Xavier senior football and hockey captain Andrew Meoli of Guilford plans to play football at Trinity College in Hartford, which is an NCAA Division III college in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. Meoli was among a group of Xavier senior student-athletes who were recognized for their achievements in both the classroom and athletic competitions and have committed to continue at the college level.

With the Falcons, Meoli was three-year member of the varsity football squad and spent all four years playing varsity hockey. He was an All-SCC Division I running back and earned the Offensive Most Valuable Player Award at Xavier for the 2013 season. Meoli also recently earned a scholar-athlete award from the National Football Foundation.

In other activities at Xavier, Meoli has participated in Peer Ministry, the Spanish Honor Society, Empower Leadership Club, and the Xavier Leadership Institute.
