Ski Team Takes Two in Opener

The Indians' skiing team took to the slopes of Mt. Southington on Jan. 9 to start the 2014 season as it has six boys and seven girls racing for the mixed squad this year. Guilford (320.22 points) defeated Hand (332.41) and Danbury (350.54), but lost to Pomperaug (308.06), Joel Barlow (308.23), and Wilton (292.40).

Leading the scoring for Guilford (2-3) were Renee Russo (50.06), Seth Goeler (50.97), Andrew Bottiger (52.96), Justin Clark (53.58), Peggy Wagner (55.88), and Cami Makula (56.77).
