05/08/2013 12:00 AMThe Guilford crew club hosted E.O. Smith at Lake Quonnipaug on May 3 for the team's last home race of the season. The Indians managed to sweep all the boys' events and the Guilford girls' upper boats both won.
On a 1,400-meter course with a slight tail wind, the Indians' boys' squad won their events with times of 4:35.40 for the first race, followed by times of 4:39.60 for the second varsity squad and a novice team time of 5:38.50. For the girls' slate, wins were compiled by the first (5:15.50) and second (4:59.40) varsity teams.
