North Haven Indians' Gymnastics Takes Two

The North Haven gymnastics team dropped a 123.45-117 decision to Law and then notched a pair of victories by scoring 113.45 to beat Branford (90.75) and Hamden (87.9).

Against Law, the Indians were led by Gabrielle Gontarek's victory in the floor routine (8.4), and also by Marie Facin, who scored an 8.3 to take second on vault and then totaled an 8.2 to finish second in the floor routine.

Then in the tri-meet with Branford and Hamden, Lauren Macolino was second in the all-around, second on bars, second on beam, and third in floor; Facin finished third in the all-around, second on vault, tied for second on floor, third on bars, and sixth on beam; Gontarek was fourth in the all-around, tied for second on floor, fourth on bars, fifth on beam, and sixth on vault; and Amanda Macolino placed fifth in the all-around, fourth on beam, and fourth on floor.
