More Coffee, New Hours

Ashlawn Farm Coffee, 455 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook has updated its business hours and has introduced a new way to enjoy your coffee. They say, “The coffees available to our predecessors, the founders of Ashlawn Farm, would have been drinking African and Indonesian coffees in 1730. Together, they are essentially a mocha-java blend. So we combined those coffees starting back in 2002 and called it 1730 Blend.” This blend is available as canned coffee, and is now stocked at both the Old Saybrook location and at Ashlawn’s Deep River Farms location, 362 West Elm Street, Deep River. And the Old Saybrook location has expanded its hours, and they are open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.—Pem McNerney
