Food Truck and Firepit Fridays at back at the Owenego Inn and Beach Club, 40 Linden Ave, Branford. Open to members of the public, from 6 to 10 p.m., who are willing to adhere to a few rules to make things easier on nearby Indian Neck residents, the celebrations feature dancing, drinks, and fun food. And check Owenego’s Facebook page first to make sure it’s on. As for the rules: Try to carpool and limit cars to one per family. There will be a $5 charge per car. Parking is at a premium. Not allowed: coolers, outside drink containers, large bags, outside food, outside alcohol, swimming, jetty, tennis courts, and dogs. Parents should keep an eye on their kids. Allowed: Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Relax on the lawn. Enjoy a beautiful summer evening at the shore. Can’t make it on a Friday?
