Bill Hoffman, pilot for Coastal Airways, enters the cockpit and prepares for his flight from L.A. to NYC. Take-off is uneventful until the plane reaches cruising altitude and an email from Bill’s wife comes through. His family has been taken hostage and will be killed unless he crashes the plane. I read this while flying to Wisconsin and loved it but was quite relieved to be back on solid ground. Sit back and enjoy your flight!
