Gourmet Food and Drink Tasting Stations Highlight of Riverfare

The Connecticut River Museum will host its 27th annual RiverFare on Thursday, June 3, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The waterfront lawn of the Connecticut River Museum will be the site of a culinary celebration of the Connecticut River valley and the unofficial kick-off of summer on the shoreline featuring gourmet food and drink tasting stations from the River Valley plus a silent auction.

Tickets are limited and masks will be required to attend.

This year’s lineup of Connecticut’s restaurants and food purveyors include Ani’s Table, Carlson’s Landing, Catering by Selene, Cloud Nine Catering, Culinary Concerts, Gourmet Galley Catering, Griswold Inn, Monkey Farm, The Red House, and Fromage Fine Foods and Coffees.

Auction items include an overnight package stay at Foxwoods Resort Casino that includes $150 dining credit good at any Foxwoods restaurant, two passes for go-karting, and two passes to Mystic Aquarium; a value of $500. RiverFare admission is $75 per person. Patron tickets may be purchased for $150 and include a premium bar and a $100 tax deduction. Net proceeds support the Connecticut River Museum’s mission to increase public awareness and access to the heritage, culture, and natural beauty of New England’s Great River.
