The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth

I picked this up one night and I’m exhausted because I couldn’t put it down! Fern and Rose are fraternal twins, but Rose is headstrong and brave while Fern has sensory issues and is cautious. However, Rose is always Fern’s champion in their difficult childhood and into adulthood. Or is she? I really enjoyed Sally Hepworth’s character descriptions and her use of humor to lighten the mood of this family drama.
