The Beatles: From Liverpool to Abbey Road

The Blackstone Memorial Library is offering a free lecture on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. that follows the footsteps of The Beatles from their early days as a cover band in Liverpool and Hamburg, into the excitement of Beatlemania. The lecture will focus on concert performances and the band’s creative ground breaking studio albums including Rubber Soul, Revolver, and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The formation of Apple Corps and the remarkable final recordings at Abbey Road Studios will be included as well.
