The Color of Together by Milton Brasher-Cunningham

Milton Brasher-Cunningham combines metaphors from jazz, cooking, and color to explore grief, hope, love, faith, and so much more. The book of essays was finished after our pandemic-triggered isolation began. Although the pandemic plays a minor role, the parts that relate to it hit me in an “Oh yes, me too, thank you for saying that” kind of way. This book, packed with wisdom and reflection for many stages of life, is one I’ll return to for many years to come.
