Thank You Restaurant Week

We went for dinner and were treated to a movie, too. Photo by Pem McNerney/The Source

I took advantage of New Haven Restaurant Week lately to visit a new-to-me restaurant, Harvest Wine Bar, which is tucked into the magnificent Louis I. Kahn-designed building at 1104 Chapel Street, New Haven, adjacent to The British Arts Center. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The people-watching was fun. And, as we finished dinner and moved into dessert, the movie Grease, on silent and with subtitles, appeared on the wall above us. Dinner and a movie! It is just one of several outdoor entertainment options they offer. With its tall outdoor heaters and cozy space, this looks like a great option for the coming months.
