This amazing memoir, by an unknown woman whose fictional Twitter persona has a huge following, was more heartfelt, funny, smart, and hopeful than I could have anticipated. Even without being one of her many devoted fans, I was quickly drawn into the warm, sharp, hilarious writing of “Duchess Goldblatt,” as well as the story of the anonymous woman behind her. I can’t recommend this highly enough.
