With the novel coronavirus shuttering schools and extra-curricular programs, parents everywhere are turning to home-schooling options and activities for their young ones. Offering dance for all ages, The Dance Corner is bringing its classes into homes, with the premier of TDC Online at thedancecorner.com.

The Dance Corner is offering virtual dance, cheer, and tumbling conditioning classes for its enrolled students aged 2 and up. The Dance Corner’s teaching staff will lead students in exercises, choreography, song, and more from the comfort of everyone’s home, keeping staff and students healthy. Livestream interactive classes are being offered for children and teenagers, aged 2 through 18. Parents will have access to resources for child engagement, including dance education resources, downloadable activities, goal-setting activities, and more. Also, students will have access to online rehearsals and recorded classes and tutorials to keep them performance ready. Plans are in the works for adult classes as well as an online version of The Dance Corner’s popular program for toddlers 14 months and up, Baby Dance With Me.

The Dance Corner is in its 26th year of providing dance training to students from Killingworth, Madison, Clinton, Deep River, Chester, Essex, Ivoryton, Centerbrook, Haddam, Higganum, Westbrook, Guilford, and East Haddam. The Dance Corner welcomes students of any age or level to take a free trial dance class.
