Let’s face it, this whole self-isolating thing can quickly become a drag. Here are some ideas from Ellen Wasyl, MBA, CLC, executive life coach at Privé-Swiss Wellness in Connecticut, on how to stay connected with others during this quarantine.

Book Club: You’ve finally read the book and this month’s group got canceled. Now what? Slip into your cozy slippers and host it online. Check out Zoom, Google Hangout, or Skype, just to name just a few.

Stay Physical: Check out the website for your local gym, yoga, or barre studio, maybe one you’ve been trying to get to for months. Many facilities are advertising virtual classes on their social media channels. Check them out and see what they’re offering. Even better, take the class with a friend and then catch up virtually over a home-brewed coffee, tea, or smoothie after you cool down.

FaceTime vs. PhoneTime: Take your routine convos to the next level and try FaceTiming your next call. There’s just something so heart-warming about seeing the person on the other end of the connection and being completely present with one another.
