The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman

I recently asked Sharon, one of my local booksellers, for a great read with an easy pace that wouldn’t keep me up at night. She confidently plucked Abbi Waxman’s latest from the shelvess. The story involves, fittingly, a heroine who works in a bookstore. Nina—a confirmed introvert raised as the only child of a single mother—suddenly learns she’s the member of large, complicated, crazy family. Should she stay or should she flee? Nina navigates this question, and other complications, keeping the reader fully immersed in the story and happily disengaged from the rest of the world.
