Madison Art Society Celebrates 45th Annual Member Show


Marlene Sicuranza’s watercolor, Fury Rescue Dog, won the most popular award at last year’s member show.

The 45th annual Member Show of the Madison Art Society will be held at the Henry Carter Hull Library, 10 Killingworth Turnpike, Clinton, through Saturday, Feb. 29.

The show, which showcases original artwork created by members of the Madison Art Society, is free to the public and available for viewing during normal library hours. An opening reception for the show will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend and to view the artwork. Refreshments will be served.

The Madison Art Society provides exhibition opportunities for artists of all levels, and works to promote art within the community. Members of the Madison Art Society have been displaying their work since the organization’s creation in 1976.
