Vanity Fair’s Women on Women Edited by Radhika Jones and David Friend

From its start, Vanity Fair declared itself a feminist publication. It seems inevitable, then, that it would produce this volume, filled with profiles of and by women. Many focus on their subjects at the height of their cultural impact, while some explore lesser known aspects of remarkable lives. Though each essay portrays how unique an individual life can be, readers are sure to walk away with a new depth of understanding of how many ways there are to make a mark on the world as a woman.
