The Best American Food Writing 2019 Samin Nosrat, editor


While not always a fan of compilations, I knew I would like this one when I saw the name Samin Nosrat. The author of Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, and star of the Netflix series by the same name, Nosrat, along with series editor Silvia Killingsworth, cast a wide net and successfully came up with “twenty-five powerful, compelling, beautiful, charming, heartbreaking bits of [the] universe,” to quote Nosrat. And, yes, as she says, it also will make you want to eat.
