The family-friendly Holiday Train Show exhibit is back at the Connecticut River Museum, 67 Main Street, Essex for its 26th year, from Wednesday, Nov. 27 to Sunday, Feb. 23.

Train artist Steve Cryan this year is offering more trains, new scenery, and lots of surprises to be found in the fully operational 26-foot model train layout. Visitors will find an “I Spy” scavenger hunt challenge for objects hidden within the train layout and the entire third floor, while the very young can get hands-on at the expanded American Flyer and Lionel train layout designed for toddler size viewing.

The exhibit is sponsored by Lorensen Auto Group and Webster Bank.

The Connecticut River Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information is available by calling 860-767-8269 or visiting www.ctrivermuseum.org.
