The Shops at Yale announces the third annual Appetizer & Dessert Crawl Fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 18. The food crawl will showcase New Haven’s diverse culinary offerings, while raising money for the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter. A dog adoption with the shelter is also scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 18 on Broadway Island at 56 Broadway, New Haven.

“Last year we raised $3,000 for the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter, bringing the two year cumulative total from the Appetizer & Dessert Crawl to more than $5,000,” says David DelVecchio, director of Real Estate Asset Management for Yale University Properties. “This year, our goal is to make a $4,500 donation.”

During the Appetizer & Dessert Crawl, guests will enjoy generously portioned appetizer and dessert samples from 14 popular restaurants and eateries at The Shops at Yale from noon to 4 p.m. for $20 (plus a $2.04 processing fee). This year there will be two separate food routes, one of which will be assigned to groups upon check-in.
