Bareboat Chartering Around the World Topic of Discussion

Shoreline Sailing Club will host a discussion on Bareboat Chartering Around the World on Thursday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 142 Seaside Avenue, Westbrook.

Captain Joy Sherman will talk about what it takes to charter a boat, including budgeting, inspecting the charter boat, provisioning, choosing a crew, and more.

Shoreline Sailing Club is a sailing and boating club on the shoreline made up of mature, active singles. While boating is the primary focus, the club hosts many other social activities throughout the year. The club welcomes new members, and no prior sailing experience is needed.
