Madison Green Goes Back to Woodstock on July 13

The Madison Green will be the place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock on Saturday, July 13 with a day of community celebration featuring an artisan market and live music capped off by a performance by Back to the Garden 1969. The day starts with the second annual Art Vibe/Woodstock Experience from 1 to 7:30 p.m. hosted by Madison-based College Collections. Art Vibe will include dozens of artists from across the Northeast who will be showcasing their art for purchase. In addition to the market, free workshops will be facilitated by professional artists alongside yard games, a community art mural, charitable raffle/silent auction, and food trucks. This is a free venue, accessible for all ages, and will occur outside rain or shine

Throughout the day, there will be live music performances by School of Rock, No Mind, Relli, and Bart Bryant Band.

At 7 p.m., the Madison Chamber of Commerce brings Back to the Garden 1969 to the stage. The audience will hear the songs of Crosby Stills & Nash, Joe Cocker, Santana, Sly & The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revial, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Richie Havens, The Band, Canned Heat, Arlo Guthrie, Melanie, Janis Joplin, Country Joe and The Fish, The Grateful Dead, Mountain, Tim Hardin, Ten Years After, and Blood, Sweat, and Tears.
