Tiny Ocean will be featured at a Concert in the Garden at the Leif Nilsson Spring Street Studio and Gallery, 1 Spring Street, Chester, on Saturday, June 29 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Hailing from the Connecticut River valley, Tiny Ocean has an Americana noir folk sound led by singer songwriter Kierstin Sieser, with Jeremy Coster on guitar, Keith Newman on bass, and Jon Morse on drums.

Their debut album Sometimes You’re Right was chosen as one of the top 20 albums by Connecticut artists in 2018 in The Hartford Courant. The New Haven Independent says the songs “feel lived in, pared down to their essence, no words wasted. Every song has a line to bring you up short...like a hook in the skin.” More information about the band is available at tinyoceanband.com.

Gates open a half hour before the show. Seating is first come, first served. Sorry, no pets.

Chester Package Store is across the street and several restaurants are in the area. BYOB and BYOP are welcome.
