The First Congregational Church of Madison (FCC) invites all members of the community to a family forum on pollution in Long Island Sound on Saturday, June 1 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the church, 26 Meeting House Lane, Madison. There is a suggested donation of $25 for the family, or $10 for individuals. RSVP by Tuesday, May 28 to svetter@fccmadison.org.

The forum will tackle questions like: how much pollution can be found in the waterways that surround us here on the shoreline? How are we contributing to this pollution and what are ways we individually can help the health of the Sound and all life that depends on it?

There will be presentations by FCC youth, local individuals, the Madison School District, and State Senator Christine Cohen (D-12).

Dinner will provided by Sanctuary Kitchen, an economic development organization for refugees and immigrants.

For more information, call 203-245-2739, ext. 12 or email svetter@fccmadison.org.
