Spectrum Art Gallery and Store of Centerbrook presents the Summer Arts Festival Gallery Show, a six-week exhibit of select works by artists participating in the upcoming Summer Arts Festival on the Essex Connecticut Town Green from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, July 14.

A mixture of painting—both representational and abstract—as well as mixed media, photography, a variety of original jewelry designs, and fine crafts made from glass, ceramic, porcelain, fabric, and more will be exhibited.

In the Summer Gallery Show, multiple artists are presenting for the first time, alongside returning favorites who have presented since the gallery’s inception in 2014. The opening reception for the Summer Show, which will include wine and light refreshments, is Friday, May 31 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Spectrum Gallery, 61 Main Street, Centerbrook.

The Spectrum Gallery Show is a concurrent exhibit by artists participating in the Arts Center Killingworth’s Annual Summer Arts Festival on the Essex Town Green, Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Spectrum Art Gallery and Store celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2019. The Arts Center Killingworth also celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2019.
