It’s CSA Sign-Up Time

If you haven’t already, it’s time to sign up for your community supported agriculture (CSA) farmshare.

When it comes to farmshares, you pay a certain amount up front. In return, not only will you be guaranteeing yourself and your family a spring and summer full of fresh food, you will be supporting local farmers and providing them with some steady financial support.

It’s an essential element in a business that can be fraught with risk, and subject to the vagaries of Mother Nature.

When it comes to loving your local, there are few things more meaningful than buying a community share from your local farmer.

Here are some area farms that are offering farmshares this year. If you know of one that should be included on this list, let us know at p.mcnerney@shorepublishing.com.
