Burgundy Books has moved from the Water’s Edge in Westbrook to a small plaza at 1395 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, next door to The Tea Kettle Restaurant, and the owners of both businesses say they are happy to be neighbors.

Linda Williams, the owner of Burgundy Books, says her ideal weekend now includes a mimosa and paleo salad at the Tea Kettle.

David A. Ciastko, owner of The Tea Kettle, says he’s encouraging his customers to check out the new bookstore.

“So you can get your brunch and book reading on,” he says.

Williams says her winter hours in the new location will be as follows: Tuesday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Mondays.
