01/24/2019 11:00 PMCue the gasps. Yes, the New Haven Cocktail Museum will be opening on Thursday, Jan. 31 in the foyer of Ordinary, a bar located at 990 Chapel Street on the New Haven Green. The opening will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. and feature a bourbon tasting, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and tours. Curated by New Haven historian Colin Caplin, the museum claims to be New England’s first cocktail museum. If that is indeed true, New Haven just earned another hipster badge of honor.
