Trownsell, Coyle will be Featured Artists in November, December

The Madison Art Society present the work of two artists, Donald Trownsell of Madison and Dianne G. Coyle also of Madison. They will be the Madison Town Hall Artists in November and December. Trownsell paints landscapes of the local shoreline. Coyle will present her Haitian portraits. Their work can be reviewed at the Madison Town Hall, 8 Campus Drive, Madison during the months of November and December. The exhibit is open to viewers during regular town hall business hours.

Trownsell was a longtime summer resident of Madison before moving here permanently in 2001. Always drawn to the water as a major theme in his artworks, he previously lived on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and the North Fork of Long Island. He primarily works in oils and is a trained water colorist. His work has been exhibited in many juried shows along the Connecticut shoreline. He is a member of the Clinton Art Society and the Guilford Art League and a former vice president of the Madison Art Society.

Coyle is an elected artist member of the Madison Art Society and the Guilford Art League. Her faces of Haiti series has exhibited at the Clare Gallery, Hartford; Connecticut Hospice, Branford: St. Thomas More Community Center at Yale University. Her works are in private collections in Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Ireland, France, and Belize.
