Writing Workshop Focuses on Finding Joy, Healing

A workshop facilitated by artist Barbara Shulman-Kirwin of Guilford and certified forgiveness practitioner and writer Amy J. Barry of Stony Creek will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the meeting room at Rock*Paper*Sistas: A Coastal Shop with heART, 17 Whitfield Street, Guilford.

In a supportive group setting, participants will learn how to tap into right-brain creativity and transform negative thoughts into positive, forgiving, healing responses through art and writing exercises and discussion.

The cost of the workshop is $75 by Tuesday, Oct. 2, $85 by Tuesday, Oct. 9, including coffee/tea and lunch. Space is limited to 12 participants.
