Let’s Get Loco at PoCo

It’s the most...eccentric time of the year. If you’re from the area, you know that the first weekend in August is reserved for the annual North Branford Potato and Corn Festival. The event, taking place from Friday, Aug. 3 to Sunday, Aug. 5, includes rides, fireworks, and a bunch of food vendors selling fair favorites and unique items like potato donuts (whatever that is). Other activities include a beer and wine garden, cornhole tournament, and more.

The Potato and Corn Festival is on Friday, Aug. 3 from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be at Augur Field, located on Route 22 in North Branford. For more information, visit www.nbpotatofest.com.
