The Bobcat: Connecticut’s Secretive Wildcat

On Wednesday, July 25, Master Wildlife Conservationist Paul Colburn will give a presentation on The Bobcat: Connecticut’s Secretive Wildcat, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Stanley T. Williams Community Center, 1332 Middletown Avenue, Northford.

The presentation is sponsored by the North Branford Land Conservation Trust (NBLCT).

Colburn will focus on the natural history of bobcats in Connecticut, with an overview of bobcat habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction, and current research efforts. He will also share bobcat artifacts with the audience.

Colburn is a graduate of the Master Wildlife Conservationist Program. He has given more than 150 wildlife presentations in Connecticut and participated in several wildlife research projects. An avid outdoorsman, Colburn is a graduate of Wesleyan University and a U.S. Army veteran.

Space is limited so participants are encouraged to come early to secure a seat. The presentation is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
