The Whistle Stop Café, 108 Main Street, Deep River is holding another series of dinners to support a wide range of charity projects.

The dinner parties scheduled for this year include:

• Saturday, July 14: Bastille Day, French food

• Friday, Sept. 21: International Day of Peace, menu to be determined

• Friday, Dec. 21: Winter Solstice, winter food and free tarot card readings

Dinners are mostly vegetarian and seasonal in nature. BYOB is suggested. Pre-payment holds a reservation and seating without a prepaid reservation is only possible if space is available. There are two seatings, from 5 to 7 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. People are seated together so that can enjoy each other’s company.

For reservations, stop by the restaurant or call 860-526-4122. The price for all three dinners is $108.

Working together with Rotary clubs from Cambodia, Nepal, Taiwan, Belgium, France, and Germany, Whistle Stop Café owner Hedy Watrous has helped to distribute food, blankets, clothes, and help with other projects.
