05/31/2018 12:01 AMWill walks. He has to. He walks to work at Dollar Tree every day. He walks to a friend’s house to leave thoughtful gifts. He walks away the pain, but there are some places he won’t visit because they are too emotional. This story reads like a stroll, but takes you the distance to connect with a soulful teenager coping with loss. I loved the feeling that I was walking with Will through the pages and we were finding ways to de-stress and handle tough emotions of grief together.
