Not only is Lidia Bastianich coming to New Haven on Wednesday, April 11 (see related story) to talk about her new memoir, Giada De Laurentiis is visiting Madison to talk about her new cookbook, Giada’s Italy: My Recipes for La Dolce Vita, on Tuesday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Madison, 26 Meetinghouse Lane.
In her new cookbook, De Laurentiis offers light takes on classic Italian fare, including Grilled Swordfish with Candied Lemon Salad, Spaghetti with Chianti and Fava Beans, Asparagus with Grilled Melon Salad, Bruschetta with Burrata and Kale Salsa Verde, and Fennel Upside Down Cake.
Filled with photography of Italy and peppered with family stories, the book is full of cooking tips and advice.
