Dana Hilmer on How to Live a Courageous Life

On Saturday, Jan. 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Scranton Memorial Library, 801 Boston Post Road, Madision hosts Dana Hilmer, leadership and personal development coach, for an interactive workshop on three fundamental things that happy and successful people have in common.

Hilmer is a former marketing executive and she knows firsthand the emptiness and pain that comes from succeeding in work that does not fit, and the courage it takes to start over and follow one’s heart. She realized she wasted years being more loyal to her fears than her dreams and it has become her mission to help other people stop “shoulding on themselves” and to live courageously so they can realize their dreams. In this three-hour interactive workshop, Hilmer will discuss three fundamentals with attendees: 1) Taking complete ownership for life and success; 2) Cultivating the courage to share their gifts with the world; and 3) Showing up daily for their dreams. Hilmer’s message is to stop letting fear, uncertainty, and doubt derail dreams.

Hilmer has been featured on hundreds of radio and television shows across the country and she speaks on topics related to happiness, optimal living, mastering mindset, and living with purpose. Hilmer lives in Madison with her husband and their three boys. For more information, visit danahilmer.com.
