Remember Cindi Lou Who? That’s from Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Five years ago, playwright Matthew Lombardo wrote a short scene about what had become of Cindi Lou for Christmas on the Rocks at TheaterWorks in Hartford. It was such a success, that Lombardo expanded it into Who’s Holiday. Cindi Lou is now middle aged and living in a beaten down trailer. The Seuss estate tried to stop the parody but lost in court. The show runs off-Broadway through Sunday, Dec. 31. For tickets visit telecharge.com.

Another Holiday Treat in NY: Elf–the Musical, based on the popular Will Ferrell comedy will return to New York City and the Theater at Madison Square Garden this year.
