The latest trailer for the racial drama Mudbound, which made waves out of the Sundance Film Festival, recently dropped. The film is directed by Dee Rees, who helmed the tremendous yet unsung coming-of-age story Pariah, and stars Carey Mulligan, Jason Mitchell, Garrett Hedlund, Jason Clarke, and Mary J. Blige.

Mudbound depicts the lives of two World War II veterans, played by Mitchell and Hedlund, who return home to their families in rural Mississippi yet must deal with their own PTSD, and the racism in their community. If distributor Netflix plays their cards right, this film should be a surefire awards contender.

Mudbound will be released on Netflix and in select theaters on Friday, Nov. 17.
