Lacy Stoltz and Hugo Hatch are lawyers from the Board of Judicial conduct and they investigate a complaint to expose a corrupt judge. In the process they will discover a decades-long operation involving organized crime, money laundering, an innocent man on death row, and an unnamed whistle blower. As usual, Grisham writes a good story.
