Wine/Spirits Tasting and Sale to Benefit SARAH Foundation

On Sunday Nov. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m., the Madison Wine Exchange, 188 Boston Post Road, Madison, will hold the third annual Make the Holidays Sparkle charity tasting with all net proceeds benefiting the SARAH Foundation, a family of agencies that provides programs and services for people with intellectual and other disabilities who live in Connecticut.

The event will feature a wide tasting selection of wines, spirits, beers, and ciders ideal for holiday celebrations. For each case of wine sold at the event, the Madison Wine Exchange will donate an extra $10 to SARAH. The selections will range from modestly priced everyday wine and spirits to special occasion wines.

This year, in addition to the tasting, there will be a showing of artwork by local artists John Perry and Tom Brooks, as well as raffles and some great cheeses and savories from Fromage Fine Foods in Old Saybrook.

The cost of the event is $30 per person with all net proceeds from the event benefiting the SARAH Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at www.madisonwinexchange.com or by calling the Madison Wine Exchange at 203-318-8663.
