11/02/2017 12:01 AMThe wait for the trailer for the hotly anticipated awards-contender Phantom Thread, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, The Master, Inherent Vice), is finally over.
Phantom Thread stars three-time Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis as a 1950s London fashion designer named Reynolds Woodcock. The film follows his illustrious career, along with the women that keep his life going, including his sister Cyril (Lesley Manville) and the youthful Alma (Vicky Krieps). Apparently, Phantom Thread will be Daniel Day-Lewis’s final film before he goes into retirement, so here’s hoping that he has something special to work with.
Phantom Thread is set for a limited release on Christmas Day before slowly expanding.
