Brunch with a Side of Jazz

The recent Guilford Performing Arts Festival was amazing for all sorts of reasons, not least of which it prompted me to finally check out the jazz brunch at Quattro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, 14 Water Street, Guilford. I met up with some friends, and we ordered the rigatoni bolognese, the chicken marsala, the chicken sorrento, the tilapia florentine, the breakfast burrito, and the lobster bisque. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable, ranging from $9 for the burrito to $14 for the rigatoni bolognese. Quattro’s offers the brunch on Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. On most Sundays a jazz band is featured, and sometimes a flamenco guitar player. To find out more, you can give Quattro’s a call at 203-453-6575.
